You + 1 Membership Campaign

FuturoFund’s impact has only been possible because of its dedicated and passionate members. When FuturoFund Austin grows, so does its impact in the Latino community!

For its 2012 membership recruitment efforts, FuturoFund is launching the You +1 Campaign. The purpose of the campaign is twofold: 1) engage the current FuturoFund membership to share their commitment with colleagues, friends and family and 2) recruit new members to increase FuturoFund’s membership for 2012.

Participation in FuturoFund’s You +1 Campaign benefits everyone involved:

FuturoFund Austin — Through membership growth, FuturoFund Austin will be able to increase support for nonprofit organizations and programs impacting the Latino community.

New FuturoFunders — When new members join, they will be able to take advantage of all of the benefits of membership including networking opportunities, community leadership development and social events - and of course, making a huge impact in our community.

You — Each time a current 2012 FuturoFund member (who was also member in either 2009, 2010 or 2011) recruits a new member, their name will be entered into a drawing to win an iPod touch.

FuturoFund will publish the names of all who recruit new members on its website and in regular Member Updates, and a special announcement will be made at FuturoFiesta, our annual celebration and member vote event in the fall. To be eligible for participation in the You + 1 Campaign, current members must make sure their name is clearly printed on the new member’s submitted pledge form.
